With the increasing threat of cyber attacks in recent times, our goal is to work towards a mitigation strategy by predicting future attacks based on specific country domains, attack types, and affected industries. Currently, there is a lack of a real-time and efficient cyber attack forecasting tool.
Our solution uses real-time data including the source and destination countries, the attack type, and the industry affected and advanced machine learning techniques to predict global cyber attacks. Through performing a comprehensive comparison of various AI techniques, we have developed a proof-of-concept model to forecast such attacks. These results can also be visualized in an analytics tool which shows the current global cyber attacks trend and forecast based on queries from the user.
